So...the people have spoken. The BN government still holds the mandate, as incredible as it sounds. Talk to the people on the street - the things you hear makes you wonder how the BN won at all. That's something for the EC to know and for the rakyat to find out. For all intents and purposes, the BN has been dealt a crushing blow from which it will most definitely be unable to recover. UMNO is in disarray, MIC is in hiding, Gerakan is baffled but stalling for time with a sideshow by their desperate housewives, the components in east malaysia are bracing for the big hop, the rest ... it doesn't matter. What matters is what is MCA up to? It has a good track record, but sorry, people judge by the company one keeps. Association with BN and UMNO has a sullying effect. It is unfortunate, but the MCA has to get up and go. So far we haven't seen that. Someone once asked "what causes drowning?" The speaker went on to say that the answer is not suffocation or asphyxiation, or lack of oxygen or water in the lungs etc. Drowning is caused by the inability to stand up after one has fallen. Show us where you are, and where you are going.
